Fitment, in plain terms
Built for the 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runner, the N180/N185 3rd generation. They do not fit 1990–1995 2nd gen trucks: the 3rd gen replaced the compact-truck-based 2nd gen with a stiffer dedicated SUV chassis. Not sure of your model year? The one on your title or door jamb sticker settles it.

Do I need to change any wiring?
