Fitment, in plain terms
Built for the 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runner, the N180/N185 3rd generation. They do not fit 1990–1995 2nd gen trucks, which are a different platform entirely. Unsure of your year? The model year on your title or door jamb sticker settles it.
What it does
Each blinker is a self-contained LED unit, not a bulb swap. That sidesteps the front turn signal bulb confusion our bulb reference covers: depending on model year and trim, the factory bulb has turned up as both a 7440 and a 1156.
Install notes
They are the corner lights mounted below the headlight housing, and like our other lighting they install in the stock, factory location. If the signals blink fast afterward, that's hyperflash — LED blinkers introduce a different issue of their own; see the FAQ below for the two standard fixes.

Why do my new blinkers flash too fast?
That's hyperflash, and it isn't a defect. The factory flasher relay is calibrated around incandescent bulbs; LEDs draw a fraction of that current, so the relay reads a bulb-out fault and speeds up. Two standard fixes: wire a resistor, sometimes called a load equalizer, in parallel to add back load, or swap the flasher relay for an electronic, LED-compatible unit.
Should I install them with new headlights?
Our headlight guide suggests it: when you do headlights, add the under-headlight LED blinkers and LED tail lights at the same time and the whole truck reads a decade newer. What does shipping cost, and can I return them?
